Grön 2020 Vision

We’ve dedicated the last 5 years to formulating the most delicious cannabis-infused edibles using single-origin, fair-trade sourced, and organic ingredients. Though our roots were planted in artisan chocolate, we’ve branched out to provide our community with products that meet the diversity of their needs, while maintaining our highest standards of taste.

As we enter a new decade, we look back on the lessons we’ve learned along the way. Our team has come together to refine our product line and streamline production to reduce waste and lower costs, allowing us to offer more of what our customers want, for less.

We’re proud to unveil our new menu and celebrate how far we’ve come. Though our look has changed, we’ve doubled down on what we do best—handcrafted, beautifully delicious edibles for everyone.

We are Grön, Oregon’s largest producer of recreational cannabis-infused edibles. Our passionate team of chocolatiers, confectioners, and support staff, come from all over the world and every walk of life to join together to create something beautifully delicious for you. Our ingredients are organic, single-origin, Fair Trade Certified, and locally sourced whenever possible. We’re happy to make others happy, and to make a positive difference in this world, one bite at a time.

Aside from using only hand-harvested, Fair Trade cacao beans, our toppings and chocolate inclusions are locally sourced, organic, and provided by local partners. Founder and CEO

A fourth-generation Texan, Christine Smith built her first bonafide village on the family ranch at age 10—a prelude to her degree in architectural design at the Univ. of Texas Austin, studies in Denmark, and quest to form thriving communities on small footprints.

Christine arrived in Oregon at the start of 1999, embarking on a 20-year career as an architect while her husband Jasper owned and operated a medical marijuana dispensary. Combining curiosities about tempering chocolate and a marketplace limited to cannabis-butter treats wrapped in cellophane, Christine applied her rich understanding of thoughtful proportions and exacting composition to start Grön in 2014.

While Christine and her expanding team keep up with the growing demand across Oregon, there’s also her family life with Jasper, their two kids and dog, cat, two horses, and nine chickens. Their home is on Skunk Valley Farm outside Portland where Jasper oversees the property’s Tier II OLCC-certified and Clean Green Certified grow facility. Together, the husband and wife duo is committed to providing organic, sustainably produced seed-to-sale cannabis confections.
